Losing weight can be easy

Hey friends,

At last, after so many years trying diet routine after diet routine, different exercises, weight loss programs and more, I found a method that changed my life from having an overly obese body with risk of heart failure.

I just wish I would have found it many years ago.

I had a bad injury some 12 years back that kept me off my feet for a few months.  I hurt my spine pretty badly and it kept me from being able to walk let alone run and exercise.  It was during this period that I was injured when the pounds started to build around my gut and other parts of my body due to lack of physical activity – vicious circle!

For the next 10 or so years, I never really worked hard to lose the weight.  Well, I did try Weight Watchers, Atkins and a few other diets, but I found that the weight would always come back.  It’s pretty depressing when it happens but it’s just really difficult to keep up with those programs.

I made the choice just this past year that I would finally figure out how I can lose weight fast and keep the weight off.  My journey has proven to be an incredible experience for me and worth every second.

Just about everybody I meet wants to lower their body fat, be skinny and have that great looking body that no one can resist.

Everybody wants to have a diet and fitness plan that actually works that can be added to your daily life routine without causing problems.  It needs to be something that you can fit in nicely without interrupting your schedule.

I want you to know that I completely understand and can relate to where you’re coming from.  And it can be even harder when you’ve tried multiple diets and none seem to be effective for the long-term.

It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to lose lots of pounds or simply tone up your body – fat is first stored in the lower abs and  this is the hardest place in the entire body to burn fat.

I believe it’s best to focus on burning the stomach fat off because doing so will help burn the rest of the fat off of your entire body.

Lose Pounds Starting This Week

Eat Healthy to Lose Weight FastThe first step that I would recommend for you is to integrate a simple healthy food plan that would work well with ab exercises and basic cardio.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could ease something like this into a typical day?  Something that you could do every single day that would bring great results.

Here are some facts that you NEED to understand if you want to burn fat and lose weight this week…

  1. A lot of the so-called “natural” food products that you see everywhere these days are actually just marketing ploys designed to trick consumers like yourself into purchasing them thinking that they’ll make you healthier.  Some of these products can be even worse for you than the “normal” store items so keep this in mind.
  2. Doing crunches, sit-ups and ab machines are one of the WORST exercises you can do to burn stomach fat.  I’ll provide you with exercises that you should do in 1 minute…
  3. Running on a treadmill for an hour at the same, monotonous speed is not the best exercises you should be doing if you’re looking to burn calories fast – which means losing weight fast.
  4. Diet pills are a SCAM and should be AVOIDED at all costs.  Do you really believe that a simple pill can make you lose weight??  None of those pills are ever FDA approved and all fitness experts recommend staying away from them as they can cause more harm than good.
  5. Ab belt commercials are no better than those diet pill scams.  They’re a total waste of money and will burn a hole in your pocket.  To add to this, those gorgeous models you see in these ads did NOT get their bodies with those programs.  They were hired by the companies to star in the exercise film.

Your Lack of Losing Weight Is a Result Of…

Lose Pounds for Great Abs- You’ve never truly been taught how body fat works and why your abs are the most important muscle group of your body.

- Your entire mid-section is comprised of multiple muscle groups that work to stabilize the body and provide support.  Keeping this muscles fit is more than enough to lose the pounds that you’ve been wanting to lose for years.

- Saggy stomach could be the result of a lack of correct nutrition advice, wrong exercise advice, lack of any eating discipline, or a combination of all of them.

- The abs are actually the least worked out part of the body; people spend a lot of time working their legs, building their arms and running that they forget about their mid-section.  And these people continue to stay at a high body fat percentage do to their lack of knowledge.

- Avoiding exercise of the abs can result in a weak spine which can development into back pain later on in life (if not already).  This happened to me and it wasn’t until I started targeting my abs that the pain started to subside.

You’ve probably seen people that exercise everyday yet continue to have somewhat of a round belly.  This is simply due to the fact that they are not correctly working out their abdominals.  You may be giving your all at the gym, but it’s not paying off because you’re doing it wrong.

Gain Abs and Lose Pounds

There are a few things we need to clarify before getting into the workouts below for you to try.  First of all, have you taken note of your diet?  What sort of foods, snacks, beverages are you consuming?

My first advice is to stop eating foods that contain empty calories.  These are simply foods and drinks that provide no nutritional value to your body.  Cutting out soda and candy is a good first step for most people.  Replace these with water and fruits/vegetables and you’ll feel healthier and more energized almost immediately.

Also, have you been doing countless crunches and sit-ups only to find the fat just doesn’t want to leave?  Perhaps this routine you’ve been doing is not the best one.

After 10 years of failed diet plans and weight regain, I’ve developed my own weight loss plan that can be easily implemented with a small budget.

With this program, you’re going to cut right through the crap and learn exactly what you need to know about fat and how it works.  You’ll learn why dieting normally results in failure and how to correctly develop a routine that works for you to keep the weight off for good.

As I researched program after program out there, I realized that each person is unique and what might work for one person won’t work for others.  So I developed a plan that will work for everyone to get the lean and healthy body that you can keep for the rest of your life.

Let’s talk about some exercises you can start doing right now that will stimulate the muscles around your mid-section thus encouraging fat burning and weight loss…

1. The Reverse Crunch

This is my favorite ab exercises to do because is strengthens your lower abdominals, your lower back and your legs.  With a regular crunch, you lift your shoulders towards your knees.  In this exercises, you will be lifting both of your legs towards the sky.

Keep your palms on the floor and try to keep the legs straight.  Raise both legs at the same time and bring them as far up as you can.  Then, lower them back down to the floor.  Do this 15 times or until you are really struggling to continue.

2. The Crunchy Frog

The Crunchy FrogThis is a good all around ab workout, but you must be sure you do it correctly or you won’t be working out your abs correctly (which in effect makes this workout pointless).

To begin, you will sit in sit-up position with your heels on the floor and your upper body raised about half way up.  If it’s hard for you to keep your upper body up, then bring your body close to your knees to begin.

You will then straight your arms out to the sides.  You will also place your legs straight out in front of you.  So, essentially you will now be resting on your butt with your legs raised a few inches off of the ground in front of you and your arms straight out to the side of you.

1 rep is to curl your legs in and bring your arms together around the knees.  Then, bring your arms back out and your legs stretched out again at the same time.  Now do you see why it’s called the Crunchy Frog?  The image you see to the right should explain.

The lower your upper body is to the floor, the harder the exercise is.  Try to do 15 reps at a fast pace.

Just these two exercises alone and a change in diet are enough to get your body well into fat burning mode.  There are many other ab exercises you can perform as well into your routine if you get bored of these two.

Best Ways To Lose Weight: Some Tips To Burn Fat

Measure Your Waist To Shed PoundsI decided to make another post about the best ways to lose weight that you can begin to apply to your life right now.  As you know, I built this blog about helping people lose 5 pounds in a week so I will try my hardest to help you do that.  If you have any questions or comments for me, feel free to comment or email me and I will get back to you asap!

One tip that I can offer you to help you lose 10 pounds in a very quick manner is to simply cut out 1 of your meals for the next week.  You will be shocked at how quickly you will lose some of those pounds.  Although this may not be the most comfortable thing to do, you will thank me later when you lose weight fast and easy.

The reason why that method is effective is because by cutting out 1 meal, you have effectively cut out hundreds of calories from your daily intake.  Cutting calories is an easy way to lose weight that many people forget to think about.  Stop thinking about the best exercise or scientific diet and just cut out some calories.  Replace your soda or whatever with water and you will be replacing about 200 calories per glass!  Amazing isn’t it?  You will lose fat quickly by doing that.

If you want to lose pounds fast and easy, then I also recommend that you cut out any sauces and dressing from your diet.  Sauces can contain an absurd amount of calories which would shock you by explaining it.  Check out the amount of calories that 1 serving of ranch dressing has.  If you like ranch, you will begin to wonder why you haven’t been able to lose 10 pounds in the last month.

Those tips I gave you alone will help you lose 20 pounds in less than a month.  In fact, just by replacing juice, sodas, and whatever with water, you will be cutting out thousands of calories per week.  When I started dieting, I just tried to stick around 1500 daily calories to help me lose weight and it worked out well.  So, try this out and you will notice a big improvement in your weight loss journey and I guarantee you will lose 5 pounds in a week before you know it!

How To Lose Weight Fast In A Week

Lose Weight FastToday I’m going to be talking about how you can lose weight fast in a week.  It’s not difficult to do as long as you have the right knowledge and knowhow.  The problem these days is that there are so many different weight loss products and supplements, it can be hard to know what to do.

Along with that, you have TV commercials advertising different ways to lose weight, you have people telling you to go to the gym and workout, people telling you to run laps and exercise, etc.  It can definitely be overwhelming and trust me, I know!

So which route should you be taking?  Let me tell you what I recommend for those individuals that are overweight and looking to lose a few pounds…

The first step I recommend is to take a look at your current diet.  If you need to, pull out a pad of paper and write down all of the meals and beverages you’ve had the past couple of weeks.  This is a crucial step in losing weight because we want to eliminate any food and drink that can be adding on the extra calories.

If you didn’t know, gaining and losing weight can be described in a simple way: if you are consuming more calories than you’re burning, you’re going to gain weight.  And if you’re burning more calories than you’re taking in, you’re going to burn fat.

Pretty simple right?  There’s much more to it than that which you can learn in the Truth About Abs book that I recommend for my readers, but let’s just stick to this idea for now.

Once you’ve written down all the meals and drinks you’ve have the last week or two, start crossing out blatantly obvious items that are adding unneeded calories to your diet.  You’ll want to cross out things such as:

  • ice cream
  • soda
  • beer
  • mixed drinks
  • slushies
  • smoothies
  • shakes
  • candy
  • etc…

As you can see, these are pretty obvious choices that are adding unneeded calories to your diet.  Are you eating any of these above food and drink items?  If so, you will want to spend the next week by not consuming a single one of these items.

By doing this, you will be eliminating thousands of calories from your diet in just one week which will help you lose more weight faster than you thought possible.  Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Best Diet of 2010? This Is All You Need.

Hey everyone,

It’s been awhile since I’ve written here so I wanted to update you all on my life and my diet plan that has been working great for me lately.

As of late, I’ve been working out a lot and following the nutritional guidelines laid out in the Truth About Abs program.  I actually started boxing recently and it’s a pretty fun cardio workout.  Though I must warn you… if you haven’t done boxing before, be prepared for some sore days!

So what’s my favorite diet of 2010?

Boxing GirlI’ve gotten in the habit of going to the gym 4 times per week.  If you think you’re going to be able to lose weight without going to the gym, you’re going to be in for a shocker.  It’s why I’ve been following the Truth About Abs diet plan because it’s actually a legitimate plan.

It’s not about miracle diet pills or eating certain foods to burn 20 pounds off.  While eating the correct foods is essential to quick weight loss, it’s more about cutting out the bad foods.

Since you’re here on my site, you are a realist.  What I mean is that you’re looking for a way to lose 5 pounds in a week and that’s good.  It’s definitely doable and you can easily do it by just cutting out a single meal each day.  That would be my recommendation if you’re looking to lose some weight fast.

Now the author or the Truth About Abs would never recommend that method because it is possible to lose 5+ pounds in a single week by working out core muscle groups at the gym a few times each week.  You could eat all the food that you would ever want to in this case.

Doing exercises like deadlifts, squats, bench presses, dumb bells and then some cardio like boxing will be more than enough to burn a large amount of calories off.

The real problem arises when you are faced with this reality.  Why? Because going to the gym takes time and we know that in the 21st century, time is just impossible to find.  Right?

You’ve really got to decide what you want to do and I want to help you make that decision…

Do you want to continue to look at yourself in the mirror and hate what you see?

Or do you want to get that body that you’ve always dreamed of?  The body that everyone around you wants to have?

I’m hoping you picked the second choice because time isn’t on your side!  You’ll keep aging every single day getting older and older, fatter and fatter.  Next thing you know, you’re 40 years old and overweight like I was.

Lose 5 Pounds Fast

As someone that was able to lose 5 pounds in a week I think it would be a good idea for me to give you some tips and advice that you can use so that you can do so as well just like me.  Keep in mind that my site is still very new and I am working hard to add more content to help all of you out there lose as much weight as possible.  If I can do it, you can too!  You must believe in yourself.

The first thing I want to talk about is how you should be drinking a lot of water every day.  This is something I struggled with when I was overweight and I still find myself forgetting to drink water.  It’s not uncommon for me to go 6 hours without a glass of water.  I still have this bad habit!

The body needs to stay hydrated throughout the day in order to perform it’s important functions.  Excess water in the system helps with the breakdown of fat cells in the body.  This is important if you’re trying to lose weight ;)   The more exercise you do, the more water you need in your system.

It’s also important to eat a good breakfast when you wake up.  Believe it or not, eating breakfast when you wake up in the morning gets your body working throughout the day aiding in breaking down fat and burning off more calories.  When you skip breakfast, the body remains in a slower state and you’ll end up eating more throughout the day.

I will say though that I only ate 2 meals when I was on my diet.  I would eat breakfast, have a banana for lunch, and then dinner.  I drank a lot of water throughout the day as well.  This diet helped me burn off a lot of weight in a short amount of time and I recommend you give it a try.

Is Weight Watchers An Effective Lose Weight Program?

Weight Watchers Is a Diet ProgramIn this post, I’m going to talk about whether I think Weight Watchers is an effective program and if it can help you lose 5 pounds in a week.  I will also talk about my ideas on burning fat because I think that, after taking many classes on diet and physical activity, I know a lot about losing weight.

First of all, for those of you that don’t know what Weight Watchers is according to Wikipedia:

Weight Watchers encourages members to select a goal weight that results in a body mass index generally accepted as healthy (18 to 24.9), although a member may also establish a goal weight outside of that range after providing a doctor’s note to that effect. In the United States, in order to join Weight Watchers, one must weigh at least 5 pounds (2.3 kg) more than the minimum weight for his or her height.

In other words, Weight Watchers is pretty much a continuity program aimed at encouraging members to reach their target weight goal so that they can become “Lifetime” members and not have to pay weekly fees anymore (as long as you stay in your targeted weight goal).

To me, it is a huge ripoff of a program because all you are doing is paying money every week to attend these weight loss meetings where all they do is try to motivate you to lose weight.  That’s good and all, but I don’t think they should be charging money to attend meetings when you’re not getting anything else in return.

They actually want you to never reach your weightloss goal and they know that most people won’t be reaching that goal, which is why they’re able to offer the free meetings to “Lifetime” members.

I think it is very easy to lose weight because it comes down to one thing: the amount of calories you are consuming on a daily basis.  If you are not counting your calorie intake, there is nor reason that you should expect to lose weight in a quick amount of time.  It’s just not going to happen!  You need to start counting the calories of everything that you’re consuming, including the little things like ketchup, drinks, etc.

You’d be surprised how many calories are in 1 glass of soda!  In fact, if you’re drinking soda on a regular basis, this is probably the first thing that you need to cut out of your life and I guarantee you’ll shed pounds just by doing this one thing.

As with other programs out there, like Jenny Craig, it’s obvious that losing weight is a huge market because these companies are bringing in billions of dollars every year.  Don’t fall for the hype because you can lose 5 pounds in a week before you know it!

Revolutionary Step-By-Step System – Lose 5 Pounds This Week!

The Diet SolutionSo as you may know from previous posts, I’ve been on an adventure this past year trying to lose weight and keep it off.  You may also know that I’ve tried several different dieting programs and guides.

By far the best system that I’ve tried is The Diet Solution by Isabel De Los Rios.  She’s a certified nutritionist and exercise specialist that developed the program.  I was shocked to learn that she has helped over 25,000 men and women lose unwanted pounds and change their lives forever.

Pretty neat huh?  I honestly never heard of her before I got the program so I did some research to learn about her.  After all, her system is the one that I still follow to this day.  No more diet pills, no more weight watchers.  Just a great fat burning program that walks the talk.

Why Juice Is NOT a Healthy Drink

One of the major health related shockers I learned from The Diet Solution was the fact that juice simply isn’t as healthy a drink as the corporations make them out to be.  Just because something is labeled as healthy and organic doesn’t make it out to be.

I learned that the only type of juice you should be drinking that’s a healthy part of your diet is fresh squeezed fruit done in your own kitchen.  Other than that, drink water instead of juice.

Why is that?  For one, the store bought juice brands seem to come loaded with sugar.  I never realized this until I took a look at the ingredients for myself.  And sure enough, a ton of sugar.

Another fact is that a lot of the fruit get’s lost in the juicing process.  The fiber, the vitamins, and other nutritious substances that are found in fruit are simply left out in the juices that you buy from stores.

What About Organic Foods?  Are They Healthy?

This was another eye-opener for me that is talked about more in The Diet Solution.  I was never big on organic foods because I simply didn’t care.   I figured that food is food and it can’t really make a difference in losing weight.

Well, as I soon learned, organic food really is that much healthier for you.  Yes, it can sometimes be a little bit more expensive, but that’s the price you pay for having natural food grown how mother nature intended it to be – without chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and whatever else they’re throwing on those.

It doesn’t have to be scary either.  Most shopping centers carry a ton of organic food now and I even see them priced nearly the same as the non-organic stuff.

All in all, I learned a ton from The Diet Solution.  I think you should check it out if you’ve been wanting to try a new weight loss system that’s different from the rest out there.

Plus, with all the healthy recipes they include with the program, you’ll be making some pretty awesome meals will only make you feel great about yourself.

That was when I discovered a website called the diet solution, that promised me that I could lose 3 to 10 pounds in one week, and do so in a healthy manner.  Now, there is a lot of information on the internet about the best new ‘miracle’ diet program or the fastest new weight loss system, so I was naturally skeptical when I read the claims on the website.

But, as I continued reading, I got a strong feeling that this was something quite different. The articles and information on the website made sense to me, and the creators seemed like they had a lot of knowledge on the subject of weight loss.

Yes, I Really Did Lose 5 Pounds in a Week…

If you don’t know me, my name is Ashley.  I created this site to share with fellow men and women about how I figured out how to lose weight fast.  I struggled with weight gaining and diet plans for years until very recently.  I’m hoping you learn from my story.

Last summer, I made the decision that I was going to diet and get back in shape.  I was excited about this because I was going to be taking weight loss very seriously.  I had big plans and wanted to get my body in the best shape it’s ever been in in years.

I was around 170 pounds at the start of last summer.  I had been over weight for awhile and I didn’t like the way I looked at all.  It was affecting my self-esteem and my marriage as well.  Things just weren’t the same as they were back in the early years of marriage.  I knew that if I could get myself back in shape, it would improve our marriage and make both of us happy.

I knew that going on a diet and getting back in shape would be a very healthy thing for me.  But deep down, there was more to it.  My husband just didn’t look at me the same way anymore and I knew it was because I stopped caring about my weight.  I mean, I didn’t like gaining weight but I didn’t try to keep the pounds off either…

The first program I tried over summer was Weight Watchers.  I heard that this was one of the most popular ones to try so I figured it must be good.  Wrong. I felt that it was just too complicated and they charged money for every single meeting.  After a month or so, I had already spent over $100 just for meetings!  I didn’t lose a single pound while I was with Weight Watchers.

The next diet I tried was the low-carb Atkins Diet.  I should have done my research before I jumped into this one because I had bad experiences with it.  Yes, I lose a few pounds from it but at the cost of having no energy.  I couldn’t figure out why–after all, I was eating meals regularly.  It wouldn’t be until a few months later when I learned the reason for having no energy-and why the Atkins diet should be avoided.

I started to worry that I would never figure out this diet thing.  I was spending lots of money and getting no results.  I was worried that I’d continue to gain weight and that my husband would end up leaving me soon.  I thought to myself, “Why would he stay when I am nothing but a fat, ugly woman?”

Finally, I turned to the internet.  On a weight loss forum, I heard someone talking a book called Truth About Abs, by Mike Geary.  He is a nutrition specialist and fitness trainer who developed a system that teaches people how the body builds muscle and burns fat.

I never heard of it before and I didn’t show much interest in it at all because it sounded like a book for body builders.  But after reading multiple articles on Mike’s website  related to foods and weight loss, I knew that this person was very knowledgeable in this field.  For example, I had no idea that vegetables can actually help burn off abdominal fat.  I learned about this from one of Mike’s articles and hes got dozens of them.  He’s even written articles for the New York Times which I thought was pretty cool.

I decided that I would get his book.  I downloaded it straight onto my computer and began reading through it right away.  Inside, Mike gives the low down about foods and weight loss and why it’s hard for us to lose weight.  I had been going about this the wrong way the whole time.  All of the major diets out there have it totally wrong.  Learning from Mike’s book taught me exactly what changes I needed to make, what foods to eat, what workouts I could do daily to further enhance my weight loss, and more.

I put what I learned from the book into action.  I had no intentions of building six pack abs or anything like that at the time–I just wanted to lose some weight over the next few months.  Well, after starting a small daily exercises plan and eating the right foods, I stepped on the scale and noticed I had lost 5 pounds on day six! I just couldn’t believe it.  My motivation was on fire and the pounds continued to come off week after week.

A couple of months later, I was down to 134.  I had lost close to 40 pounds in 2 months!  My friends and family couldn’t believe it and they wanted to know my secret.  Well, here it is!  Best of all, my marriage has been better than ever.  My husband looks at me and loves my body.  He’s been exercising with me as well and he is looking great.  Our love life feels like the honey moon days as well :)

In my opinion, for your money, this is the best way to lose weight fast.  When I put what I learned into action, it worked extremely well for me and maybe it will help you too if you give it a try.  Just don’t buy into any of those diet pills or belts or whatever.  Those will leave you disappointed and they’re expensive.

Anyway, I hope this information can help some of you.  Don’t tell yourself, “Oh, I’ll just start a diet next week…” because we both know that that won’t happen.  Make the decision to make the change today and do something about it – I know you can do it.  Good luck!

How to Lose Weight Fast and Easy
